Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-adjacent prototypes (quantum-AI hybrids, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptions with 3-5 year impact
- Translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership on future tech ethics and societal implications
- Manage $15M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present future scenarios to boards and investors using immersive VR simulations
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Theory, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ quantum/AI/biotech patents
- Proven track record of commercializing future-tech concepts (e.g., neural implants, quantum encryption)
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, EU AI Act)
- Published work in Nature Futures or equivalent peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming (Qiskit)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ tech roadmaps successfully implemented
