Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation framework across AI, biotech, and clean energy verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, metaverse, neuromorphic computing) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present visionary roadmaps to investors and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor innovation fellows in future-proof methodologies and ethical tech governance
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets for 2026-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging tech with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI systems
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with published research on future technology scenarios
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants for forward-looking R&D
- Portfolio of delivered innovations with measurable market impact
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks governing emerging technologies
