Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (AI ethics, space habitation, neurotech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate future-readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging sectors
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for future-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight practice
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping initiatives implemented at scale
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: quantum AI, biocomputing, climate tech
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) required
