Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum AI integration
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across nanotechnology, climate tech, and neural interfaces
- Design speculative innovation frameworks with 5-10 year implementation timelines
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate disruptive startup investments
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders using immersive data visualization
- Establish ethical governance protocols for emerging technologies
- Host annual 'Future State' symposia with industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend analyses or innovation frameworks
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience securing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent preferred
- Track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial pilots
