Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Produce horizon-scanning reports identifying disruptive market opportunities
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate next-gen startups and IP acquisition
- Design and prototype future-state scenarios for enterprise clients
- Represent FutureHorizon at global innovation summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists in methodology and ethical foresight practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent portfolio)
- 5+ years experience in innovation strategy or technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, backcasting)
- Experience designing and executing large-scale innovation workshops
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-forward solutions
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex technical concepts
