Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 innovation roadmaps using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute breakthrough product development initiatives
- Identify and quantify emerging tech opportunities (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Create competitive advantage through patent-pending intellectual property strategies
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track market disruption indicators
- Build and manage external partnerships with research institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Management, or related field
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with patent strategy and intellectual property development
- Demonstrated leadership in matrix organizations with 50+ direct reports
