Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 technology foresight reports analyzing AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops identifying high-impact innovation opportunities for 2026-2030
- Build strategic partnerships with 15+ emerging tech startups annually
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and climate disruption impacts
- Present future-state roadmaps to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Mentor R&D teams on implementing 2026-viable prototypes
- Track patent landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing credible future-state forecasts (2020-2025 preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI, or space commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in Figma, Tableau, or similar
- Experience facilitating executive workshops with Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or relevant technical domain
