Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap across quantum, biotech, and AI domains
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Develop foresight frameworks to anticipate societal and market disruptions
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Mentor next-generation innovators through Horizon Labs' Future Fellowship program
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation or emerging technology leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of transforming futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed future studies journals
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants or venture funding
- Portfolio of at least three breakthrough technologies brought to market
