Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech) to create 5-10 year innovation forecasts
- Develop and execute cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on disruptive future scenarios
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Translate complex future trends into actionable product development strategies
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build our future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, patents, books)
- Strong network with futurist communities and tech innovation hubs
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
