Responsibilities
- Analyze 2026 technology convergence points (quantum-AI symbiosis, climate-tech tipping points, neural interfaces)
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Publish annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for C-suite and board
- Identify and secure partnerships with emerging tech pioneers
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech R&D
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate modeling
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational innovation roadmaps
