Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technological foresight frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate 2026-era product ecosystems and business models
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and scout breakthrough startups
- Design ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and policy summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or equivalent field
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (peer-reviewed journals or industry publications)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI alignment, or neuromorphic engineering
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning for 2026+ technology adoption curves
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with patent portfolio development for exponential technologies
