Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on 2026 market disruptions
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers published in Nature and MIT Technology Review
- Manage a $2M R&D budget for experimental technologies
- Represent the company at Davos, World Economic Forums, and UN Innovation Summits
- Mentor PhD fellows through our Horizon Futures Academy
- Design AI-assisted foresight methodologies for long-term trend analysis
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 10+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of predicting technological disruptions (2018-2023)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on exponential technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of climate tech, neuro-interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Experience advising governments on 2030 SDG implementation strategies
- Fluency in at least two major languages beyond English
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three implemented future-shaping initiatives
