Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2030
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Impact Reports' synthesizing global tech trends and their strategic implications
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for cross-functional teams on emerging tech applications
- Present strategic foresight insights to investors, board members, and key stakeholders
- Mentor a team of junior futurists to cultivate next-generation strategic thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating emerging trends into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical discipline
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, advanced materials)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in reputable futurist or technology publications
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex scenario planning and trend analysis projects
