Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Establish innovation KPIs and track adoption rates of futuristic solutions
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify and integrate breakthrough startups
- Deliver quarterly trend reports to the board with actionable recommendations
- Organize annual 'FutureForward' symposiums featuring industry disruptors
- Mentor R&D teams in ethical implementation of experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- PhD in emerging technologies or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar journals
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience with quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech ecosystems
- Strong network with DARPA, Future of Humanity Institute, or equivalent bodies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from AC/SCIP or equivalent
