Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic frameworks integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive forces across 15+ global industries
- Design actionable scenario models for 3-5 year futures with 95% confidence intervals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with long-term market evolution
- Present executive briefings translating complex futures into executable business strategies
- Establish foresight protocols across 8 international business units
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for investor and stakeholder audiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with 8+ years strategy experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting market shifts (provide 3 case studies)
- Expertise in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau) and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex futures for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
