Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable roadmaps
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI) for commercial viability
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with innovation labs and research institutions
- Produce executive-grade reports on disruptive market forces and regulatory shifts
- Design organizational resilience strategies for systemic risks (climate, geopolitical, economic)
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies and adaptive planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
