Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their market implications through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visioning
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for R&D priorities
- Identify and evaluate high-potential startups and acquisition targets
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and specialized futurism conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and curate the company's foresight knowledge base
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of publishing influential trend analyses or whitepapers
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight implementation
