Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology landscapes (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic frameworks for market entry in emerging sectors
- Produce actionable foresight reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future needs
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and industry summits
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical and economic shifts
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurism research
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption (showcase 3+ accurate predictions)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and exponential technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (Harvard/MIT/Stanford preferred)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
