Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market trends relevant to the 2026 horizon
- Develop strategic frameworks and roadmaps for innovation adoption and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruptions and prepare organizational responses
- Produce scenario analyses and risk assessments for emerging technological paradigms
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and thought leaders
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build a foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful business strategies
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (preferred)
