Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D priorities and investment decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate future-ready innovations into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Produce compelling scenario analyses and strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Drive innovation workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and execution plans
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and technological megatrends affecting our industry's future
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
