Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive horizon-scanning framework identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Produce annual '2026 State of the Future' reports for executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize innovation initiatives aligned with future scenarios
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics to track foresight accuracy and strategic impact
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ multi-year strategic foresight projects
