Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps for 2026+ by analyzing technological convergence, societal shifts, and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough opportunities across 15+ industry verticals
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members to drive data-driven decision-making
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and emerging technology startups
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including scenario planning and Delphi techniques
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, and climate tech
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic initiatives
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPS from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Demonstrated experience influencing C-suite decisions through compelling future narratives
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ strategic initiatives implemented with measurable market impact
