Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze technological, social, and economic trends impacting 2026+ markets using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop actionable strategic frameworks for executive leadership, translating foresight into operational priorities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions in AI, sustainability, and human-machine collaboration
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors for trend intelligence
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership positioning Nexus as a future-shaping authority
- Advise product teams on emerging tech integration opportunities (quantum computing, bio-digital interfaces, etc.)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, SFI) strongly desired
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-oriented analyses or strategic frameworks
