As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to transform futuristic insights into actionable strategies. You'll lead horizon-scanning initiatives, identify disruptive opportunities, and build frameworks for sustainable growth through 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive horizon-scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks to quantify future scenarios and their organizational impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic priorities
- Author visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on long-term industry trajectories
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurist thought leaders, researchers, and innovation partners
- Translate strategic foresight into product roadmaps and investment opportunities
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors with compelling narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to visualize complex future scenarios
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Outstanding presentation skills with experience delivering to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or strategic foresight projects
