Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings on disruptive innovations with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product roadmaps with future market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies for emerging technologies
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members with actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex concepts
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Fluency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
