As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, Silicon Valley pioneers, and government think tanks to identify emerging trends, develop actionable roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams in turning futuristic concepts into commercial reality. Your insights will directly influence multi-billion dollar investments and shape the technological landscape for the coming decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Horizon Reports identifying emerging paradigms in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year innovation cycles aligning with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead Future Scenarios Workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test organizational resilience against disruptive forces
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national labs for cutting-edge R&D initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with quantitative impact projections
- Mentor a team of 5+ innovation analysts and junior futurists
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums on future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (white papers, patents, or industry journals)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling frameworks
- Deep technical understanding of at least two emerging domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Fluency in strategic forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
