Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast market opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state strategies
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with actionable strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation initiatives based on future viability
- Monitor competitor roadmaps and emerging threats in the 5-year planning horizon
- Advise executive team on long-term risk mitigation and adaptation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, or Technology Forecasting (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, market analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for tech companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
