Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop predictive models and scenario frameworks for long-term business strategy
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Present futuristic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with venture capital team to scout emerging technologies and startups
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and industry evolution
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across organizational departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published research
