Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) with 3-5 year horizons
- Develop strategic frameworks for market entry into 2026+ industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future visions
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions
- Establish innovation metrics to track strategic progress
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in technology trend analysis (Singularity, Gartner, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech impacts
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic roadmapping
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent
