Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for future market disruptions and technological convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on 5-10 year strategic vision
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Advise product teams on future-proofing solutions against technological obsolescence
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global regulatory trends impacting emerging tech deployment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Economics, Futures Studies, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into business strategy
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
