Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging sectors
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future-proofing business models
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate 2026-focused startups and emerging technologies
- Design resilience frameworks for supply chain and operational continuity in 2026+ contexts
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership on long-term technology impact scenarios
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, trend mapping)
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and systems thinking
- Track record of influencing executive strategy with future-oriented insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or equivalent training
