Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging trends across AI, biotech, sustainability, and quantum computing
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with 3-year predictive models
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with 2026 market realities
- Author thought leadership publications and present insights at industry conferences
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for cross-functional teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Proven track record in trend analysis, scenario planning, or strategic innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI ethics, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems and thought leadership circles
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and strategic modeling software
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
