Responsibilities
- Forecast societal, technological, and market shifts through quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for product development and business expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision priorities
- Produce trend reports and white papers published in industry-leading journals
- Advise executive leadership on disruptive technologies and market inflection points
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Palisade @Risk, Trendalyzer)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex scenarios into compelling narratives
- Published author in foresight or innovation publications (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell's Two Loops, Delphi)
