Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption and market disruption
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and spatial computing
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term business objectives
- Design and facilitate future-state workshops with Fortune 500 partners and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership positioning Horizon as the 2026 innovation authority
- Manage a $50M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of futurists, data scientists, and product architects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards of directors
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams in matrixed organizations
