Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps aligning with 2026 technology forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Author futurist whitepapers influencing industry standards and policy
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic trends impacting future business models
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders and investment committees
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of publishing industry-recognized trend analyses
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend extrapolation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, nanotech, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience with global trend databases (Gartner, WEF, Frost & Sullivan)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
