Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, neurotech, climate AI) to map 2026 innovation landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers and designers
- Produce annual 'Future Outlook' reports for C-suite stakeholders
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities in adjacent industries
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Represent Horizon at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Published research on emerging tech societal impact
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks
- Strong network with global tech thought leaders
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful future-strategy projects
