Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology and market trend forecasts using advanced analytics and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer next-generation research initiatives
- Design and implement horizon scanning frameworks to identify emerging disruptors and opportunities
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and system dynamics modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience communicating complex futures concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
