Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and market disruption
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for board-level executives on 2026 tech implications
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) for commercial viability
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present strategic forecasts at global innovation summits and industry conferences
- Build cross-functional coalitions to implement future-readiness initiatives
- Produce annual '2026 Horizons' whitepapers for stakeholder distribution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (horizon scanning, Delphi method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
