Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic innovation roadmap with 3-5 year projections
- Facilitate executive workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing priorities
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive market changes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to board members and external stakeholders
- Drive organizational culture shifts to embrace adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
