Responsibilities
- Analyze convergence of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with global sustainability and human augmentation trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in our Silicon Valley R&D labs
- Present strategic foresight findings to investors, board members, and government innovation councils
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate technology adoption
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026 technology deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in technology forecasting or innovation strategy at Fortune 500 or startup scale
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies before market saturation
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities using tools like Tableau or Palisade
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or at global innovation forums
- Experience securing multi-million R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation initiatives
