Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of emerging tech disruptions (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members with actionable 5-year forecasts
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for breakthrough R&D initiatives
- Establish industry-first frameworks for ethical AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on 3+ major industry shifts
- Deep expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, etc.)
- Published author or thought leader in futurism/tech ethics (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in predictive analytics tools (Python, TensorFlow, Tableau)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year tech predictions
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technologies preferred
