Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web4) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 partners on post-2025 disruptions
- Author quarterly foresight reports published in industry-leading journals
- Design and launch Horizon's 2026 Innovation Accelerator program
- Interface with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) to pioneer future-focused research
- Build predictive models for societal shifts and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience as futurist, strategist, or innovation lead at tech/biotech firms
- Proven track record of published research on emerging technology impacts
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of AI ethics, climate tech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ foresight projects with measurable outcomes
