Responsibilities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to map potential 2026 technological, regulatory, and consumer behavior shifts
- Develop proprietary trend-forecasting models using AI-driven analytics and cross-industry data synthesis
- Produce executive-grade strategic briefings translating foresight into actionable business opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Advantageously position clients in emerging markets (quantum computing, bio-integration, metaverse economies)
- Build and lead a global network of domain experts across academia, startups, and think tanks
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Expertise in trend-forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year predictions and their commercial applications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
