Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI)
- Analyze global megatrends and geopolitical shifts to inform long-term R&D priorities
- Collaborate with MIT/Future Institute to publish annual 'State of 2026' reports
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for climate resilience and space exploration
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Present findings to UN Global Compact and World Economic Forum summits
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals on exponential technologies
- Expertise in systems dynamics modeling and scenario planning tools
- Deep knowledge of UN SDGs and global sustainability frameworks
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Science, or related field
- Portfolio of 2020+ trend analysis or strategic foresight projects
