Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and market inflection points
- Produce forward-looking white papers and scenario analyses for C-suite decision-making
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists on emerging trend analysis and foresight methodologies
- Present quarterly horizon scans to board members and investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and monetizing tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Delphi methods, horizon scanning, and causal layered analysis
