Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze macroeconomic, technological, and societal trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Partner with R&D to identify breakthrough opportunities in quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational priorities on emerging technologies
- Monitor and report on disruptive forces in climate tech and decentralized systems
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing business models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities using tools like Tableau or Flourish
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or tech startups
