Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ technology trend forecasts using AI-powered analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and strategic initiatives
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) for commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Proficiency with trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated success developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers, books)
- Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
