Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging tech trends (2025-2027 horizon) through market research and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating breakthrough technologies into enterprise ecosystems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present future-focused insights to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human-machine augmentation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrable experience in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in trend forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
