Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging tech trends (AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech) for 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future technology adoption scenarios
- Author strategic whitepapers and trend analysis reports for executive stakeholders
- Identify partnership opportunities with academic institutions and startups
- Monitor global policy/regulatory shifts impacting technological deployment
- Advose on R&D budget allocation based on future viability assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy/innovation roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Published research on emerging tech trends (AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong network with academic researchers and industry thought leaders
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight
- Experience developing ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
