Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year tech innovation roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, Web4.0)
- Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and futurists in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and disruptor markets to identify billion-dollar opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with NASA, CERN, and MIT Media Lab for collaborative R&D
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and board members driving $500M+ investment decisions
- Author industry-defining whitepapers on the future of human-AI symbiosis
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Scanning' accelerator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurology with 8+ years in strategic tech planning
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in Nature, TechCrunch, or IEEE Spectrum
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACSF) or Technology Impact Assessment
- Fluency in Python, R, and predictive modeling frameworks
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for moonshot projects
